Punjas and Digicel sponsors fifth National Netball Championship

Punjas and Digicel have jointly announced today to sponsor the 2018 National Netball Championship to be played at the multi-purpose courts in Lautoka on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th August.

The National Championship will see 38 teams, representing 12 districts and is expected to attract over 400 players for the two day tournament in Lautoka.

Mr. Gopal Jadhav of Punjas Group said, “We are happy to partner with Digicel and support the National Netball Championships for the fifth year.”

Digicel Fiji CEO, Mike Greig said, “I am excited that we can continue to support Fiji Netball. We have supported Netball over the last five years and our past joint sponsorship also included the Super League and the International Series.”

“This commitment highlights our efforts to help Fiji Netball grow their potential player base at home and prepare them well for various international Test matches and competitions. This event over the past four years presented a great platform for our youth players to showcase their talent and helped prepare them for international events. I hope our local based players will use this event to impress selectors to get a place in the Fiji training squad for the 2019 Netball World Cup and the 2021 Netball World Youth Cup.”
